  • Little Ripper
  • Downtown Kedungu
  • Halo Kedungu
  • Tipsy Pig
  • Pizza and Pickles
  • Cliff Hanger

Little Ripper Cafe

A chic, surf cafe delivering amazing healthy eats and pastries, better vibes, and cool merch

The “Kedungu OG,” Little Ripper was the first cafe and restaurant to pop up in Kedungu. The cafe’s owners founded the cafe specifically to serve the surf crowd that they are very much part of, and create a community space and coffee spot in the village. That level of care extends to the amazing food, pastries, and coffee they deliver daily.

All of the ingredients are top notch and the dishes are exquisite fusion – think Miso Truffle Gnocchi, Prawn Rissoto, Laksa Curry, Brioche French Toast with local fruit puree, and a constantly changing menu from the owner’s experiments. Beyond the amazing normal dishes, the cafe makes all of their own sourdough bread, pastries, and croissants baked daily onsite

Downtown Kedungu

Upscale Latin fusion and arguably the best restaurant in Kedungu

The mad scientist in Downtown Kedungu’s kitchen is an amazing chef who loves to experiment and it always results in something uniquely delicious. From Taco Tuesdays Bali style to Sunday Roast with a Latin American touch, to special nights with Mezcal and Tapas pairings, Downtown Kedungu doesn’t disappoint.

For a perfect day trip, plan on Downtown for solid Margaritas around sunset, just after leaving Kedungu Beach.

If you plan to be in the area, be sure to follow Downtown Kedungu on Instragram** to learn about live music, social nights, degustation menus, and other great events

Halo Kedungu

Authentic Chinese cuisine and chill vibes perfect post surf or lat at night

Delicious traditional Chinese food with flair in a cool spot – containers patched together into a restaurant.

Noodles, soups, dumplings, and delicious authentic Chinese dishes make this a spot you definitely need to try.

Go early for lunch after a surf session, or late to end the night and you’ll be satisfied either way.

Tipsy Pig

Hearty Australian and American cuisine

Located 200 meters from Kedungu Beach, this small restaurant delivers amazing, hearty eats that (if you’re American or Aussie) feel like home. The location is perfect to stop at after sunset coming from Pantai Cinta** or Pantai Kedungu** and at the start or end of a long day.

If you’re craving burgers, beers, barbecued ribs, pulled pork, or salads with the same flavors of good American and Aussie restaurants you” love the Tipsy Pig

Pizza and Pickles

A cool little pizza shop on the “Jl. Pantai Kedungu” drag

A very cool little pizza shop with that super chill, old island destination vibe, this shop is always cooking up your normal pizzas (pepperoni, Margherita) and something unique and special (try the Southeasy…you’ll love it).

Pizza and Pickle’s best perk is it’s likely walking distance from where you’ll stay. So, you can walk in, have a pizza roadside, and walk home with a beer in hand enjoying that Kedungu village life.

Cliff Hanger

Located in Yeh Gangga, delivering great, authentic German food and beer with an amazing waterfront view

  • Hours: 8AM to 10PM daily, closed Mondays
  • Google Maps Location
  • Specialty: German cuisine and great beer

Though technically not in Kedungu, Cliff Hanger is a great restaurant to know. Located in the nearby village of Yeh Gangga, this beachside restaurant is worth the 10 minute trip for its huge portions and its stock of authentic beer.

Whether you hide here from the mid-day heat or go for a sunset, Cliff Hanger is a great option.

Joshua District

A unique concept restaurant made of shipping containers stacked for a rice field and ocean view while you dine.

Joshua District is a combination restaurant and villa complex with a full service menu, drinks and cocktails, and routine events. Check their schedule for weekend entertainment
